The Comoros, the surprise package of the Africa Cup of Nations, are struggling to put a team together for their last-16 tie against host nation Cameroon after 12 players and management tested postive for Covid-19, their federation announced Saturday. The assets of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) have reportedly been taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) for defaulting on a loan facility. Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing (IEDM) Limited, the core investor of IBEDC, and other investors own 60 per cent of the utility company while the government controls 40 per cent of the shares. Fifteen girls have been abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in a village near Chibok local government of Borno state, following an attack on Thursday night.
