Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has urged the Federal Government to extend its onslaught against bandits in the North West to the North Central geopolitical region. Ortom made the call yesterday at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi, when members of the Niger Delta Bishop’s Voice and Minister’s Forum (NDBVAMF) visited him. Amotekun intercepts truck loaded with Northerners in Ondo
Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State have intercepted a truck loaded with people from Northern extraction on Tuesday According to Newstrack, the truck was loaded with over 60 passengers made of women, youths and children. The passengers were said to be heading to Kano from Lagos before they were intercepted at Iju in Akure north local government area of the state. They were thoroughly checked by Amotekun men before they were released.
