A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised the alarm over an alleged plot to bomb headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja. BREAKING: INEC chairman summons stakeholders meeting, plans to postpone election

There appears to be uncertainty over tomorrow’s Presidential and National Assembly election as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, is currently meeting with stakeholders, including international and local observers in Abuja. Sources close to the commission confided in the Punch correspondents that the commission is discussing the possibility of shifting the date of the election over logistics problems.
