Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday presented the N1.1 trillion 2020 budget on the floor of the Lagos State Assembly. A breakdown of the budget titled, ‘Budget of Awakening’ shared by the Lagos State Government reveals that it will be funded by a projected total revenue of N1.071 trillion and a deficit amounting to N97.53 billion. The governor signed the N873.5 billion budget alongside three other bills comprising: Neighbourhood Safety Corps Agency, Amended Act of the Lagos State House of Assembly Commission and Domestic Staff Service Providers’ bill.
