Vote-buying has characterized the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State. Both the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are engaged in buying of votes. The buying of votes by agents of both parties was done secretly. It was gathered that APC gave as much as N5000 to N10000 depending on the wards, while the PDP was said to be giving N5000 and below.
