The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Offences Commission on Monday said a senator representing Imo State diverted a constituency project to his personal hotel. The ICPC commissioner in the state, Udonsi Arua, made the claim during the celebration of the 2019 United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day in Owerri. ICPC declares Obono-Obla wanted
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has declared Okoi Obono-Obla, former chairman of the Special Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) wanted. The anti-graft agency said the action was due Obono-Obla’s “repeated failure to appear before it to answer questions bordering on allegations of fraud and corruption”.
