In Ondo town, it was an historic rally for the ZLP, as the presence of Mimiko turned the rally into a festival of sorts, as fans, traders, drivers and motorcyclists joined the campaign train, with singing and dancing, as they head straight to the palace of Oba Adesimbo Victor Kiladejo, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom.
Starnews Nigeria learnt that members of the ZLP, fans and supporters are still walking the street of Ondo town in solidarity for the ZLP and its candidate as at the time of filing this report.
At the palace, former governor Segun Mimiko told the traditional chiefs that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has destroyed all his legacies that he left behind, thereby, urging the people to reject his government which according to him, is of the father, the mother and the son.
Mimiko said the people should embrace the candidate of the ZLP ahead of the state governorship election slated for October 10, 2020.
