NGO rolls out education support materials for school pupils in Delta

A non-govermental organization, Safe Future Foundation, has rolled out Education Support materials for school pupils in Burutu Community and its environs in Delta state.

Over 200 primary school pupils benefited from the free school sandals and writing materials distributed by the Foundation as part of their plan to support quality education at the grassroots.

Speaking at the event on Monday, the delta state coodinator of the Foundation, Miss Ebi Gbakena, expressed happiness at the warm reception of the youth representatives and leaders of the host communities.

She used the opportunity to call for more supports from members of the public and goverment for the foundation’s programmes aimed to be carried out for over 5,000 pupils in niger delta primary schools.

In a similar view, the Co-founder and Executive director of the Foundation, Arogbo Sunday, expressed delight at the commitment of the Delta state team and other ambassadors of the Foundation.

He said the Foundation will do more in supporting quality education through motivational and support packages as captured in the UN Sustainable development goals.
