There is tension as at the time of filing  this report as the former spokesman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh collapsed this morning at the resumed hearing in his trial before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Metuh was still lying in the dock and being attended to by medical officials of the court as we file in this report.

Metuh, who is being tried for alleged money laundering offences, with his company, Destra Investment Limited, collapsed when he attempted to enter the dock when the case was called.

Recall that Metuh had consistently complained of ill-health for some time now. He had on two occasions applied to the court to be allowed to travel abroad for medical attention, whcih the court rejected.
